Welding Electrodes

Welding Electrode Supplier

Welding

E6013 and E7018 covered electrodes for structural, maintenance, and critical welding applications.

Distefano Consulting supplies covered welding electrodes for companies in construction, maintenance, fabrication, and heavy industry. Through our international sourcing network, we connect buyers with qualified manufacturers producing E6013 and E7018 electrodes compliant with AWS A5.1 and A5.5 standards — ensuring consistent arc performance, reliable mechanical properties, and proper packaging for international logistics.

Technical Description

Our electrode portfolio covers the two most widely used classifications in industrial welding. E6013 is a rutile-coated, all-position electrode known for its easy arc striking, smooth bead appearance, and minimal spatter — making it the go-to choice for general fabrication, sheet metal work, and maintenance welding. E7018 is a low-hydrogen, iron-powder electrode that delivers superior tensile strength, excellent crack resistance, and high ductility — essential for structural welding, pressure vessels, and critical load-bearing joints. Both types are available in 5 kg and 20 kg packaging, with a 20-foot container holding approximately 23 tonnes. Proper storage and handling guidance is provided to maintain low-hydrogen electrode integrity.

Grades and Compositions

We supply two primary electrode classifications. E6013 (AWS A5.1) is a rutile-coated, all-position electrode ideal for general-purpose welding with easy arc starting and smooth bead finish. E7018 (AWS A5.1/A5.5) is a low-hydrogen, iron-powder electrode for critical structural welding, offering high tensile strength, low cracking tendency, and excellent mechanical properties. Additional low-alloy E7018 variants (e.g., E7018-1, E7018-A1) may be available for specialized applications.
